Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your use of OMX. By accessing or using the platform you agree to them. Please read them carefully. (This is a demonstration marketplace; content below reflects standard marketplace terms.)
1. Using OMX
You must be at least 18 years old to post ads. You agree to provide accurate information, to use the platform lawfully, and not to post prohibited, illegal, counterfeit or misleading items.
2. Listings & content
You are responsible for your listings and for ensuring you have the right to sell the items you post. OMX may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these Terms or applicable South African law.
3. Transactions
OMX is a venue that connects buyers and sellers. Except where Pay & Ship escrow applies, transactions are directly between users, and OMX is not a party to them.
4. Payments, Pay & Ship and paid features
Pay & Ship, ad boosting and Verified Seller are paid features. In this demonstration environment payments are simulated. Escrow funds (where applicable) are released to the seller only upon buyer confirmation.
5. Prohibited conduct
No fraud, harassment, spam, scraping, or attempts to circumvent platform security. Violation may result in immediate suspension and reporting to the relevant authorities.
6. Liability
The platform is provided 'as is'. To the extent permitted by law, OMX is not liable for user-generated content or for losses arising from dealings between users.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of OMX after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
